Galaxy S3 to compete against iPhone 5 in 2012

It is looking more and more like the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be released in the first half of 2012. Mr Shin, the president of of the mobile communications section of Samsung, has been quoted as saying that “Samsung may launch a 3rd version of its Galaxy S smartphone in the near future.”
Following the huge success of the Galaxy S2 phone, it is understandable that the makers would be interested in a relatively swift release of the next model.

Several mobile phone critics feel that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be released at a similar time to the iPhone 5 and that these two will be in the main competitors for the lucrative smartphone market share.
With Samsung and Apple already locked in a bitter, heated court battle over the originality and copyright of the tablet, 2012 promises to be an exciting year in mobile phone technology for more than one reason.
